An eventing trainer/instructor; I have dedicated my life to understanding the horse. I have school horses available, bring your own horse for lessons, or drop it off for weeks/months of training. I teach the classical principles of dressage as given on the classic training pyramid and also the classical principles of cross country riding and show jumping. All horses should enjoy their jobs and most horses at the farm are taught jumping, trail riding, dressage, galloping, gymnastics , cross country and often specialize further in their training towards eventing and dressage. Rachel Jelen and the Art of Equitation focus on the use of a balanced and correct position to allow you to be a positive influence on your horse. Proper equitation is an art that has been lost throughout time and is a necessity to become a true partner with your horse. She has an impressive record of finding horses that match a rider's personality and skills. Her "Dare to Dream" training method focuses on building communication and understanding between the horse and rider.

Part of Jen's methodology involves asking the student to explain to her what they're doing, what they're feeling, what the horse is doing, and why the horse and/or rider performed as they did.
