Rebecca Brown (Becca) is a Licensed/certified Equine Canada/Ontario Equestrian Federation English Coach, Centered Riding Instructor, Natural Horsemanship Instructor L3 and IMTCA Judge.

Over the years Becca has devoted her time to becoming a quality coach, mentor and examiner for students of all ages. Her teaching philosophy focuses on developing the cooperative relationship between horse and rider by running a safe, professional well structured lesson program.
Becca and her students work together to develop rider confidence and ability to reach success to which ever level they wish to accomplish. Becca will prepare her riders for a progressive introduction into the show ring, beginning at the beginner level.
Regardless of the level, Becca supports her riders by attending the shows and mentoring/coaching at the individual venues.
Becca provides her students with a strong foundation of skill preparation, theory, good sportsmanship and most of all she maintains a fun atmosphere!

Alexis has always loved horses but didn’t start riding until she asked for lessons at 10 years old. She went to her first shows on a thoroughbred named Trickster who started her adoration for the breed. OTTB’s have a special place in her heart, and she has a lot of fun retraining them.

Her first experiences were in the hunter/equitation ring, competing locally, at rated shows, and on IEA teams. As she gained experience on trail rides and eventually foxhunting, she loved the thrill, and so she found out about more disciplines outside of the ring. That led her to learn about eventing.

Hello there! My style of teaching is based around the principle that bettering one's self will directly benefit their ability to work in unity with their horse. I firmly believe that what we bring to the relationship defines the limitations of our partnership, and that the majority of horsemanship is about building yourself up to be the person your horse needs. I always seek to empower each horse and human as individuals first, and then as a unified partnership. My lessons are centered around building mindfulness within ourselves and our horses, emotional resilience and regulation, and creating better understanding and practice of how to effectively communicate with our horses. Perhaps you are struggling with anxiety around riding, or your horse spooks too much for your comfort. Maybe the riding part is going great but you desire a deeper connection and feeling of togetherness with your equine partner. Kelsey began riding horses when she was 6 years old, getting her first pony for her 7th birthday. She was a member of The United States Pony Club for 11 years, achieving her C3 rating.

Originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, she spent her childhood traveling across the Midwest for various camps and events. Kelsey has spent many summers living with trainers and working with horses. As she grew as a rider, she began giving lessons and training horses. Kelsey worked with a therapeutic riding program for multiple years, assisting children and adults with various disabilities both on and off horses. She has taught riders of all ages about horsemanship and developing a strong foundation both in and out of the saddle.

Currently Kelsey is a middle school art teacher in Prince William County Schools. She has a passion for education and making learning fun and looks forward to doing the same thing at Silver Eagle Stable.... See More
