Rainbow Hill Farm is a hidden gem 15 minutes from Katy Mills Mall. Our two trainers combine over 50 years of instructing students the correct method of riding English. Both still compete nationally and are part of the USEA Instructors Certification program. We offer lessons from beginners to advanced; dressage and jumping, on our horses or your own. With over 1000 wooded acres to ride, a covered lit arena, full dressage arena and cross country jumps, we can accommodate every aspect of your equestrian training whether it is pleasure riding or competition oriented.

Laurie Jarvis

Laurie began riding at the age of 4 in San Diego, CA at one of San Diego’s Premier Hunter Jumper barns. After successfully competing in the Greater San Diego Hunter Jumper Association for more than 12 years, she began riding Dressage at the age of 16 and was lucky enough to train with two Olympic trainers for Dressage and Jumping.

At just 17 years old, Laurie qualified for her first of many Grand Prixs on her horse Allocated Spirit. She has also competed successfully up to 4th level Dressage.

With more than 28 years of riding experience and 14 years of training she believes in teaching core fundamentals. Laurie says “I believe that riding should be both fun and rewarding. I train beginners to experienced riders and riders who are wanting to learn how to barrel race. I work well with children ages 5 + to Adults. Western riding only. You decide how many lessons are right for you; I offer weekly and one on one lessons with myself. Not only learning how to ride but these lessons include basic horsemanship, care, grooming, safety, maintenance and horse knowledge.
