I offer experienced training for western and all around AQHA and APHA displines from beginner to the advanced national level rider. Texas Aggie grad with a B.S. in Animal Science with an emphasis in Equine Reproduction and Equine Sports Physiology. Member of the inagural TAMU Stock Horse Team and clinician for the Texas Extension 4-H Horsemanship Clinics. Assitant trainer to multiple trainers so I have many perspectives on how to handle various training problems.

I have an experienced and very safe lesson horse who is also an NRHA money earning show horse to help take you from begining through your first show with confidence. I also have several ponies and all around lesson horses available. I love teaching children and have coached a young lady to a Reserve All Around Highpoint Championship at the Reichert Celebration as well as the many other High Point Awards recieved by my clients of all ages. I believe in teaching total horsemanship, from grooming and care to physiology and psychology so that you can understand not only the how, but the why a correction or movement is used. This creates more effective communication between horse and rider and leads to a rider that can think independently to correct issues as they occur rather than waiting for a trainer to give instructions. I work and ride horses in the round pen, the arena and then the sand of the Red River (easy on young joints) and have immediate access to miles and miles of equine trails in the government land behind my ranch.
