Diamond K Ranch is a adult and kids horseback riding lessons from beginner to advance. We teach , riding position , balance and how to ride the proper gaits,etc. We play games on horseback and have fun. We have safe and well trained horses and plus I can give lessons off of your horse as well . I offer barrel racing lessons only to intermediate or advanced students. I offer experienced training for western and all around AQHA and APHA displines from beginner to the advanced national level rider. Texas Aggie grad with a B.S. in Animal Science with an emphasis in Equine Reproduction and Equine Sports Physiology. Member of the inagural TAMU Stock Horse Team and clinician for the Texas Extension 4-H Horsemanship Clinics. Assitant trainer to multiple trainers so I have many perspectives on how to handle various training problems.

I have an experienced and very safe lesson horse who is also an NRHA money earning show horse to help take you from begining through your first show with confidence. I also have several ponies and all around lesson horses available. I love teaching children and have coached a young lady to a Reserve All Around Highpoint Championship at the Reichert Celebration as well as the many other High Point Awards recieved by my clients of all ages. I believe in teaching total horsemanship, from grooming and care to physiology and psychology so that you can understand not only the how, but the why a correction or movement is used. This creates more effective communication between horse and rider and leads to a rider that can think independently to correct issues as they occur rather than waiting for a trainer to give instructions. Chamberlain Dressage works with horses and riders emphasizing basic principles of
dressage including rhythm, balance, suppling, and self-carriage.

Accepting riders that are new to the sport of English or Western Dressage, Beginning Riders, or Timid Riders of all ages. Kids 5 and up are welcome! Learn fundamentals of horse care and stable management, lungeing, ground work, and riding under a caring teacher. Jumping lesson fundamentals are taught. Experienced HJ clients are turned over to fellow trainer.

Carrie Ferrer, USDF Bronze Medalist and German FN Bronze Medalist, competing through Prix St. George is the trainer.

We teach beginners thru advance ages 4 and up. Western, Bareback & English Disciplines. We have excellent schooling horses. We place a strong emphasis on safety, while having fun.
