Western Horse Training in Laurel, Montana (Yellowstone County)

My name is Alexis, I have been training confident people and all sorts of horses (non-gaited, gaited, off the track, feral, and drafts) for 20+ years from foundation skills to competitions.

Teaching 4H Horsemanship, Husbandry and Showmanship since 2008. 4H kids welcome!

Receiving my Associates degree in Equine Studies with Ranch Skills, Colt Starting, Western Equitation, Natural Horsemanship and Rodeo.

Managing my own private 30 horse barn, training program and lessons over 20 years. Worked in large and small animal veterinarian clinic for 7 years.

Experience in multiple facilities with many different breeds and disciplines such as thoroughbred race horse barn, reining quarter horses, dressage horses (warmblood, fresians, Warlanders, Andalusians), endurance (Arabians, BLM mustangs and Gaited), driving draft hitches (Clydesdale, Percheron, Cream Draft and Belgian), using horses and mules in the mountains of California, Oregon, Idaho, Montana Washington and Nevada to gather cattle for 15 years, training drill horses and Rodeo Queen horses rodeo and so much more!

Training program spots available at our property on the west side of Laurel which includes board while your horse is in training at $1250 a month(Owner provides feed). $1500 a month (Trainer supplies feed)

Lessons are $55 at our barn in Laurel on West 4th street including haul ins. $75 per Session (travel fee for Laurel included) ($95 for Billings, Molt and Park City). Traveling to Shepherd, Bridger, Robert's, Red Lodge as well(ask for pricing).
