Over 10 years experience riding all types of western horses. Have shown both English and Western. I train general riding horses, trail and all playday events including barrels, poles etc. My program includes 5 days a week riding, groundwork, manners, round pen work, arena work and pasture riding. I work all horses on trail obstacles. They will be clipped and groomed regularly. Before your horse goes home I will give you two lessons so you are up to speed on all training and you can continue at home.My fee includes training and full care. We specialize in lessons for the beginner rider up to advanced-competition levels. We offer lessons in both English and Western. Beginner Private lessons($40) are always one student per instructor. Designed for students who have little or no experience, the following skills are covered: Grooming, saddling, leading, mounting, adjusting stirrup length, maneuvering a mount at walk and trot around the ring. Students will remain in this specially priced lesson program until it is determined by the instructor that sufficient proficiency has been attained in the above basic skills. At that time the student may either move into a group lesson or choose to remain in 1/2 hr. privates at the regular price. Our Private Lessons($45) are always one student per instructor. Private lessons are a perfect compliment to group lessons to help focus on particular problems. It is suggested that riders have their mounts fully warmed up and ready for the lesson in order to get full benefit from the lesson. Our group lessons($30/person) are 1 Hour long and have from 3-6 riders. We form our groups based upon rider ability level and whenever possible by age also. I have extensive experience in training: from starting a two year old to training competitive barrel horses.
When I was very young I began competing at playdays and went on to compete in high school rodeo, where I received many awards, college scholarships, ribbons, belt buckles and saddles.
I competed through college and I am currently hauling two competitive barrel horses, both of which I started from two year olds.

Tune ups/problem corrections-from foundation work corrections, to alley way issues and more,

Barrels/pole bending/playday event patterning,

Legging up-I can work your horse to get it back in shape for competition.

All training is western style training
