Fairhaven Farm is conveniently located to Rome, Summerville, Cedar Bluff, Cave Spring and Silver Creek. Owner/Operator Kimberly Wallace is American Riding Instructor Certified; a USDF Silver Medalist; is participating in the USDF "L Judges: Certification program; Preliminary Eventer (less than 6% of eventers compete at this level and above) and Assistant Coach to both the English and Western Berry College Equestrian teams. Kimberly has both a lifetime of experience in both Europe and the United States as well as a teachers heart so you will learn correctly from your first lesson and NOT have to re-learn/correct something later after its become a bad habit!! Her goal is to help every rider achieve his/her goals safely whether they be basic riding or International competition, Her lessons are broken into small pieces and presented in a logical order to help each students and training horse understand one another clearly. We are a Hunter/Jumper/Welsh Pony facility specializing in teaching clients a non-interfering and correct position that allows for a horse with proper musculature. Lessons are available to riders with their own mounts, or on one of our kind school horses.

Taylor started riding at age 5 and as a child was a avid pony club member, including multiple trips to USPC National Championships in multiple disciplines. She attended the University of Connecticut, earning a degree in Animal Science with a specialization in Equine Studies and has taken classes on equitation instruction and light horse training and management. My goal is to foster a love of horsemanship and teach the proper techniques in caring for our equine friends. Students are taught to fully appreciate the responsibilities and rewards of being an equestrian and to develop a life-long respect for horses while learning self discipline, patience, perseverance and self confidence. I offer Western lessons. My students will learn the proper way to behave around horses, how to care for them, how to ride and why things are done the way they are; and to become accomplished, competent and independent riders. My lessons are designed for groups family members or one on one private lessons. I have owned, trained, and given lessons for 14 years. I am creating this new program for home schoolers. I am located 6 miles east of Monroe, GA in Good Hope.
