Taylor started riding at age 5 and as a child was a avid pony club member, including multiple trips to USPC National Championships in multiple disciplines. She attended the University of Connecticut, earning a degree in Animal Science with a specialization in Equine Studies and has taken classes on equitation instruction and light horse training and management. Taylor has taught lessons at many different barns and a couple summer camps and specializes jumpers, eventers, and fox hunting for students of all ages and abilities.
