Jack and Paula Curtis have a combined experience of 32 years; training horses and instructing their owners, in a variety of disciplines. Together they have competed nationally in Jumping, Dressage, and Western events. They teach clinics throughout the state, and as far away as Florida, give demonstrations at horse fairs, and instruct anyone interested in achieving a higher level of horsemanship.

Having studied with some of the finest trainers and clinicians the horse industry has to offer, Jack and Paula bring a wealth of knowledge to their teaching program. Their ability to articulate their thoughts and ideas has an enormous impact on the success of their students and horses.
~The Stable~
The stable of JPC offers indoor and outdoor full-service boarding with the amenities of a large facility and the individualized care of a small family stable. New large indoor arena, spacious clean rubber matted stalls, and miles of trails meandering through the 62 acre farm. Horses live in a quiet, relaxed and closely watched environment. Feeding and turnout programs are customized to each horse. Owners live on premise, and are involved with the day to day operations of the facility.
Located in Grafton, WI, minutes north of Milwaukee and just 1 1/2 miles off of I-43. It is 62 scenic acres of rolling fields, woods, creek, and pasture.

Lessons on your own horses: Trailer your own horse in for a private lesson to brush up on your horsemanship skills, solve a problem, prepare for a show, learn a new skill etc... We can take you and your horse to the next level in whatever discipline you ride.

Lessons on our horses: We have a variety of lesson horses available; dressage, hunters, jumpers, reining, and barrel racing horses. Let us know what your goals and ambitions are and we can find the right match for you.

Semi-private clinics: These clinics are geared towards those of you who would like an in depth horsemanship experience. Spend the day with Jack and Paula as they give you hands on instruction. Watch them work with various horses and experiment with various techniques on your own horse or one of the lesson horses. This format covers a multitude of topics allowing more time and a broader topic range than a regular lesson. I am a dressage, jumping, and beginner lesson instructor. I came over from Holland over 6 years ago. Back in Holland I graduated as Veterinarian Assistant/Technician. I was always into the horses and have a lot of experience with the youngsters, and trained with some great trainers over in Holland.
In the US I trained under Yvonne Berkhout for many years, then Wayne Boyers, Kim Iwen and Endel Ots of Kim and Yvonne Barteau's KYB Dressage. I am terrific with kids, but do offer intermediate lessons to 3rd level. I have participated in many shows around the country and have scored in the seventies at every level I have competed. We offer saddle seat (English) and some western riding lessons to all levels of riders, from the first lesson to the most advanced rider. You do not have to own your own horse as we have riding programs for the serious show ring competitor as well as for newcomers - even Tiny Tots! In all facets of the learning process, we encourage a strong sense of camaraderie, sportsmanship and fun. We offer adult-only riding groups on Monday evenings. Our heated indoor arena allows us to maintain our lesson schedule year-round.

We would love for you to come and visit us for a tour and watch us give a riding lesson so you can learn first-hand about our program and teaching style. We give lessons Monday through Thursday and on weekends. Please call ahead if you would like to come for a visit.
