Hello everyone! Wanted to introduce the new and upcoming English and Western training facility in the heart of Spotslyvania Virgina. We are a work in progress but have BIG goals and need your help to get there! We have now put in our arena! Working on getting a few jumps as well to start with. As of now we are offering the following:
-Ring Rental
-30/60/90 day horse training program
-Trailer your horse in for lessons
-Working students ( I have a few horses I want to use for lessons but they need some more experienced riders to work them. Lessons are free on these horses!)
-Pony rides/birthday parties
- We will Travel to you!

Horsemanship and riding lessons are taught by a certified instructor. We teach ages 7 and up, & we love teaching adults! From the student who has never even touched a horse, to those with experience cantering and jumping we offer something for everyone. We offer quality instruction on our horse or yours, in both the hunter and jumper disciplines, and coaching from the local through the A levels of competition. We start young horses and give them a good foundation, and "de-programming" ex-racehorses is our specialty. Terri Young trains horses and teaches riders of all levels. She specializes in bridging the gap between the local Virginia show circuit and US Equestrian Federation-rated shows. Terri grew up competing in equitation and hunters in New Jersey before spending several years working for dressage trainers, including Lendon Gray. After graduating with a degree in business management from Syracuse University, she moved to Germany where she trained and showed jumpers before returning stateside to open her own stable. She is a USEF “r” judge and a member of the USHJA Youth Council. Terri has been accepted to the USHJA Trainer Certification Program and was the winner of "Win a Week with Frank Madden," sponsored by Bates Saddles and Practical Horseman Magazine. Sean offers instruction to riders of all ages and abilities, focusing on good horsemanship, solid basics, proper balance, and the relationship and communication between horse and rider and has been helping students form great partnerships with their horses for over 15 years. He is well known for his patience, communication skills, and takes pride in getting the best out of each student and horse. His coaching style is a mix of training and lesson philosophies coming from years of experience in the tack and his tremendous teachers and coaches throughout the years including David O’Connor, Phillip Dutton, Jimmy Wofford, Stuart Black, and Bay Cockburn.
