Kilfinnan Stables is a full service equine facility offering training, lessons, clinics, sales and boarding. Lessons and Training are provided by Advanced Three Day Event Rider Sean McQuillan. Sean offers instruction to riders of all ages and abilities, focusing on good horsemanship, solid basics, proper balance, and the relationship and communication between horse and rider and has been helping students form great partnerships with their horses for over 15 years. He is well known for his patience, communication skills, and takes pride in getting the best out of each student and horse. His coaching style is a mix of training and lesson philosophies coming from years of experience in the tack and his tremendous teachers and coaches throughout the years including David O’Connor, Phillip Dutton, Jimmy Wofford, Stuart Black, and Bay Cockburn. Sean’s philosophies are well-rounded and tailored to fit each horse and rider combination.
Sean is also available for clinics. He currently teaches numerous clinics at private stables and colleges throughout the East Coast and Midwest as well as conducting training clinics for numerous regional Pony Club chapters.
