This is the most common response I receive from owner's. At Säker, our mission is simple, no really simple, as in "KISS" (Keep It Surprisingly Simple).

As a student of Säker, you focus on this fundamental principle, "KISS". Why you ask, well I say why not! Most people, especially women (and the horse industry is 2/3rds women), tend to overthink what they consider to be "problems" with their horse. So our mission at Säker is to break down this communication barrier with "KISS". We explain that horse training is 90% common sense (i.e. "Do I really want my horse to do this?"), and 10% know-how ("No, so I will do this instead."). We focus on removing the "emotion factor" (No, your horse is not attempting to drive you mad, well, most of the time.).

"Wait, wait," you say, "But I don't have a horse...". Even better. You get to learn from beginning to end training, care, management, and horse/life lessons without previous influence, and without the barriers put in place by previous riding experiences.
By focusing on "KISS", we are able to produce a more confident you (in the barn, showring, on the trail, and yes, even at work or at school). Säker means confidence. Owner/Trainer Mrs. Tyler Verlander-Peabody has been riding since before she could walk and has been teaching lessons to children and adults for 15 years. She showed on the local GHJA circuit growing up in Woodstock GA, her experience and training has been with the top GA trainers in the Hunter/Jumper/Equitation discipline. She interned with AA trainers traveling to AA shows all over GA, FL, and the east coast up to Lake Placid, NY. By the time she was 18 years old, she had already successfully managed a 50 person lesson program, summer camp and 20 horse boarding stable. Tyler is an entrepreneur and business woman at heart and utilizes her marketing and management education from KSU to strive in her business. She has trained and sold numerous horses that have gone on to AA show homes and beloved owners. Tyler is passionate about being an advocate for both horse and ride, her students appreciate her detail oriented lessons with safe forward progress each time. Fairhaven Farm is conveniently located to Rome, Summerville, Cedar Bluff, Cave Spring and Silver Creek. Owner/Operator Kimberly Wallace is American Riding Instructor Certified; a USDF Silver Medalist; is participating in the USDF "L Judges: Certification program; Preliminary Eventer (less than 6% of eventers compete at this level and above) and Assistant Coach to both the English and Western Berry College Equestrian teams.
