The Trinity Ranch is Santa Fe's Premier Horse Facility for Boarding, Training, and Lessons. We have three trainers/instructors: Emily Keene of Keene Dressage- a USDF Bronze and Silver medalist, Thom Pollard an AA Hunter, Jumper, and Hunt Seat Eq Trainer/Coach/Former USEF "R" rated Judge, and we also offer all-around trainer (Western and English disciplines and Trail riding).

We offer beginner lessons (adult and youth). Our lesson horses are kind, patient, proven schoolmasters in both the lesson arena and in the show arena. Horsemanship Academy
The Horsemanship Academy is a “learn by doing” results-oriented program that builds trust and confidence between the horse and rider. The Horsemanship Academy enrollment process offers flexibility in course opportunities in alignment with rider interests and individual goals while complimenting beginner through advanced riders. Bi-weekly classes include:
Course outline/syllabus
Ground work
Trail riding
Various topic presentations by outside clinicians
Maximum of six riders to a class
Enjoy sharing this enriched learning experience with like-minded people under the guidance of a professional trainer. You and your horse will realize a better relationship through safety, trust, control and respect. Think of engaging in a clinic for 12 weeks – not just a short weekend. Each course of Horseman 101, 201, 301 and 401 will be twelve weeks long consisting of six classes incorporating time for learners to reinforce, practice and perfect their skills before the next class.

My business focus has shifted from riding instructor to equine bodyworker and movement/alignment coach. The focus is on helping the rider/owner find the maximum connection and harmony with their horse by applying hands-on techniques of the 'Masterson Method Integrated Bodywork for Performance' (1st certified practitioner in NM) to bring the horse into balance and then coaching the rider/owner on way to maintain or fortify this healthier state for the horse. This can include designing a specific ground work and under saddle program, along with evaluating the individual riders connection and alignment in the saddle. Based just north of Santa Fe but currently have clients from as far south as T or C/Socorro and north to Alamosa, CO. Thom Pollard is a Hunter, Jumper, Hunt Seat Eq - Trainer, Coach, and Former USER Registered "R" Judge.

Horses trained by Thom have won numerous National USEF, VHSA, MHSA, and NCHJA Year-End Championships. He has placed multiple jumpers on the USET Show Jumping Squad, which competed in Europe. He coached the Zone Junior Jumper Team at the Pennsylvania National.
