Clients of the Horsemanship Academy enjoy a standing invitation and extended learning opportunities to saddle up for monthly trail rides to various locations in New Mexico. Wilderness locations, private cattle ranches, mountain trails and many other spectacular locations are just a few of the settings to enhance your horsemanship riding experience.
Horsemanship Academy
The Horsemanship Academy is a “learn by doing” results-oriented program that builds trust and confidence between the horse and rider. The Horsemanship Academy enrollment process offers flexibility in course opportunities in alignment with rider interests and individual goals while complimenting beginner through advanced riders. Bi-weekly classes include:
Course outline/syllabus
Ground work
Trail riding
Various topic presentations by outside clinicians
Maximum of six riders to a class
Enjoy sharing this enriched learning experience with like-minded people under the guidance of a professional trainer. You and your horse will realize a better relationship through safety, trust, control and respect. Think of engaging in a clinic for 12 weeks – not just a short weekend. Imagine the progress that you and your horse will make!
Each course of Horseman 101, 201, 301 and 401 will be twelve weeks long consisting of six classes incorporating time for learners to reinforce, practice and perfect their skills before the next class.
