Lester Murphy has been trained in Ireland and certified with the British Horse Society. Lessons given to children and adults, from beginner to advanced. Dressage and jumping lessons, as well as scenic trails on 80 acre farm.

I have been the beginner riding instructor at Morning Star Farm for 5 years. This includes children with handicaps such as Hearing Impaired, Children with Autism, Behavior problems, and Traumatic Brain Injury.
I specialize in working with riders that are children but do have experience with adults with disabilities.

The relationship between horse or pony and rider is very beneficial and have found that Equine Assited Activities in riders of all ages is most effective in the nature of physical, mental and social development.

I have been riding Hunter/Jumpers for over 20 years and a proud owner since the age of 13. I have been teaching Hunter/Jumper, Equitation, and Dressage riding lessons and training in these disciplines for over 10 years . I pride myself in the ability to take students and/or their mounts from the absolute beginning to the peak of their talent. I thoroughly enjoy what I do as a profession and my primary focus is always SAFETY and I believe in the philosophy that the horse comes first. During the early years of my career, I worked as a show groom for many trainers. I groomed at local horse shows all the way to Devon as well as The National Horse Show. My style of riding, teaching, and showing reveals my strong sense of tradition in the Hunters and Jumpers with a base in Equitation and Dressage. I have had the great pleasure to have shown and still show at the local show series circuits such as The Sussex Benefit Series, Smokerise, and Briarwood all the way to The Garden State Horse Show as well as The New Jersey State Fair Horse Show.
