I have been the beginner riding instructor at Morning Star Farm for 5 years. This includes children with handicaps such as Hearing Impaired, Children with Autism, Behavior problems, and Traumatic Brain Injury.
I specialize in working with riders that are children but do have experience with adults with disabilities.

The relationship between horse or pony and rider is very beneficial and have found that Equine Assited Activities in riders of all ages is most effective in the nature of physical, mental and social development.

It is a safe,fun program that can enhance a childs strengths and help to gain self esteem and confidence in areas that a child with disabilites may lack.
