This STUNNING blue roan gelding has the build, ability, and mind for it all! "Commander" is the complete package no matter what you're looking to do, and is a horse that is truly enjoyable to be around whether you're in the saddle or hanging out with his him in the barn. He's super user friendly to ride making him a total favorite in the barn because we know we can put anyone on him and they're going to enjoy themselves. This guy has done quite a bit at a young age - he's been shown in pretty much all of the 4-H classes, given lessons, has done loads of trail riding, and he's even competed in a few walk/trot playdays. "Commander" also has a lot of cow sense and has done some sorting events as well! That's just how versatile he really is!He has lots of cool buttons that most horses do not and knows many different maneuvers both on the ground and on his back. "Commander" is tons of fun to take out on the trails too - he will swim through ponds and lakes, cross rivers, carefully make his way up/down sandy hills, ride through thick brush, step over big logs/trail crossings, and does so willingly and happily - he's truly content doing anything and everything you ask of him. He has a great neck rein, stop/back up, side pass, and even works gates too. His walk, trot and canter are all very smooth and easy. He will ride around at a slow jog all day long until you ask him for more. His canter is very pleasant and this guy will lope around relaxed and quiet on a loose rein the whole time you're on him. Pokie is a handsome 7 yr old registered Missouri Foxtrotter gelding. pokie is the definition of a been there, done that horse. He is a trail riders dream and a barrel of fun to ride!! Joker walks patiently and quietly on a loose rein until asked to gait, and has a smooth, easy to sit, rocking chair lope, so he is really comfortable to ride all day long at whatever gait you choose. Joker is a very confident horse and that makes it really easy for you just sit back and enjoy the ride! He is very sure footed and spook free. We have had pokie on some of the roughest terrain in our area and he eased right through it like a billy goat. But wait! There's MORE!! pokie still has a few tricks up his sleeve!! We have trained pokie to lay down and sit on command, so if you want a taller horse but it’s hard to saddle one his size, problem solved!!! Just lay him down, throw your saddle on, and fasten once he gets back up! He is already a finished trail horse and I have no doubt that pokie would excel in any direction you wanted to take him, especially field trials.
