Henry is the most handsome & regal Belgian cross (we think QH, Appendix or Warmblood), 16.3h, gelding. He is 16/17 years old and has mainly been a loyal trail mount for one owner for many years, and most recently a family pleasure horse for another family. He is ready to please his next owner!
Henry has demonstrated that he can ride in both Western & English tack. He rides out quietly on trails solo or in company. He’s much more comfortable out on turf & trails. He schools in the arena politely when asked, demonstrating three lovely gaits and such consistency in his rhythm. He is NOT a typical lazy draft type. He has a big canter stride so not for beginners. In the arena, he has a safe motor that we love about him. Henry has a lead change when asked and has some other fancy buttons- he will leg yield and side pass.

Henry doesn’t look his age. He was an adored riding partner who was ridden 5-6 times a week for many years so is in exceptional condition with a beautiful top line. His feet are beautiful and look more like a large Warmblood. He is polite with the farrier, bathes, x-ties and adores grooming. Turns out in a mixed herd. Respects fencing.

This hunk of a horse would be best suited for an educated rider who has soft hands and an educated seat. He’s so willing to partner with his rider!

This boy is partially started. You can teach him anything. He understands vocal communication, while still green and not yet ridden, he will “ potty “ on request in the muck bucket or a bag! He is sensitive, and I’ve taught him to stop what he���s doin and come to me if I am on the ground ( stopping safely afar so as not to kick sand, but close enough to climb up his leg) . He is clever, you could teach this horse nearly anything. I got him as a stallion, as he was kept ungeld with his mom in the same pen the first 2.5yrs of his life. 2/3 days a week lease. Lessons are encouraged with his trainer at your own expense. Trainer is super sweet and knows what she is doing. Mordi is not best for beginners. He is by no means dangerous, you just need to have a strong idea of the basics. He will test you to get out of work for he is rather lazy. He keeps an even pace at all gaits. This boy takes care of his riders and really wants to please. Mordi is very much a people person and a LOVE BUG.
Mordi has worked with a few trainers and has had trail experience. He and I have moved around a lot so he travels very beautifully.

ON -site training lease. For those wanting to learn to train a horse and get them back into the saddle. I usually do this with green horses however this one is special. Offering a lesson plan to learn how to get a horse back into the saddle whether it be a not yet started horse or one that needs to get back. This lease is not a good fit for beginners advanced novices or higher. Penny is a 16 year old, flea bitten grey, OTTB mare, looking for a special new rider to love.

In the 4 years I’ve had her we’ve had countless adventures, from parades, playdays, trails, and liberty, to 4-H, clinics, and english & western shows. We learned so much together, and now it’s time for her to join another family to love.

Strengths:
-she comes to be haltered,
-follows us around pasture,
-loves being groomed,
-stands for farrier,
-hauls and stalls well,
-lunges,
-great ground manners,
-happily accepts her blanket in the winter, -stands for tacking & bridling.

Weaknesses:
-she will load and unload but “dumps” herself out when backing off the trailer, she does best in new environments when she is being ridden regularly,
-she is sensitive to poll pressure so can be reactive when she steps on her lead rope or is hard tied,
-she won’t pick up her right lead consistently under saddle, but will on the lunge line (with more conditioning and arena work she might get it under saddle).

She’s barefoot and gets trimmed every 8 weeks. Her teeth were floated October 2024 and she has current negative coggins.

She’s very affectionate and loves her people. She also loves adopting young horses to mother. She’s very responsive, and best suited for a thoughtful intermediate rider. She was my first horse and is super special to me, so we’ll be very selective about where she goes.

Dallas is an eye-catching Palamino pony mare with beautiful gaits and a long reaching walk.
This girl forms deep connections with people she trusts.
She enjoys trail rides preferably with another confident horse(s) but is happy to brave it by herself with her person as she enjoys being out in nature. She is comfortable with machinery moving around at the barn, trucks, cars passing on a trail ride or birds flying out of the Florida canals on trail-rides.

We'd like to find a home for her with someone who can give her the time she deserves.
Ideally this will be with someone she can enjoy trail rides with and this someone who may have an interest in Dressage, Natural Horsemanship, or possibly Liberty work.

Dallas has been in light Dressage training with her natural ability. She leads and lunges well (with or without side-reins), works well in hand including lateral work which has increased her strength and suppleness and was started on ground driving.
She has the potential to move along in Dressage with a consistent, patient approach.
She is not a candidate to buy and "flip", and we are not willing to sell her for this purpose.

16+ hand Percheron-Morgan cross available for on-site lease near Califon. Comet is a sweet, in your pocket type guy. He has been on the back burner for a bit and will need a tune up but his previous experience includes pulling a cart and trails/low level English.

He does need someone who is comfortable setting the tone as he will test you by standing still or walking back to the barn. He has done lead line with beginners and does not misbehave. Once he realizes he can’t push you around he is an easy ride.

Luke is a Registered (AHA # 675100), 7.5 year old homozygous black (black producing) rabicano (a genetic trait similar to roaning) Straight Egyptian Arabian stallion. His breeding is Al Khamsa and Blue List and contains some of the best Ravenwood breeding. His father, TDR WhiteStone (AHA #614525), was a Reining Champion and was exported to China after having produced many outstanding foals! His mother, TDR Zuri Tsarina (AHA #659677), is a gorgeous mare who has also produced many gorgeous foals.

I professionally started Luke in the spring of 2023 for 90 days, and he shows great potential for Western Pleasure and possibly Reining like his sire. He would excel as a show horse as he loves to show off, is naturally very smooth and balanced, and rides very nicely. He just needs finishing work to show in rail classes! He walks, jogs, trots, lopes, and canters in both directions under saddle, in long lines, and round penning. He ties, lunges, bathes, clips, loads, trailers, and stands for the farrier. He is an easy keeper and kept barefoot.

He is very spirited, but shows off respectfully, and he loves attention! He will need an experienced rider and handler who can work with him often, as he is just one of those horses who needs consistent work to keep his intelligent mind busy. He is a sweet but spunky boy!!! He has no foals on the ground as of yet, as my intention was to breed him to my mare (who, as it turns out is sterile), show him, and stand him to the public after showing and having my own foal by him out of my mare.

My hope is that someone will care-breed-lease him as a stallion, OR care lease him as a gelding, or buy him as either a stallion or gelding with the first right of refusal to buy him back if he is ever sold. Terms are NEGOTIABLE!

It breaks my heart to sell him as he IS my dream horse. I am ONLY selling all of my horses because I am a single mother and the economy will not allow me to continue owning horses at this time, even before her recent diagnosis. My hope is that someone will care lease or buy her, and be willing to give my daughter updates from time to time.

Books is a 6 year old thoroughbred mare who has been kept in a professional program for the last year. She has been to many schooling shows, and a few A shows and done great!
