Mountainview Ranch sits on 120 beautiful picturesque acres in the heart of Dutchess County. We provide boarding, lessons, and training at our facility and welcome all disciplines. At MVR we pride ourselves in always supplying the best feed, knowledgeable staff, and optimum care. We strive to go above and beyond for our boarders and always treat each horse as one of our own. Emerald Creek Farm provides top quality care in a relaxed professional atmosphere. Our goal is to provide a environment where our boarders can come and enjoy all the benifits of horse ownership. Board includes a 12x12 matted box stall, all day turnout in nice sized paddocks with great drainage and a limited amount of horses per paddock. Unlimited hay and water all day. Horses enjoy lush hay throughout the day and night. Quality grains are fed twice or three times a day, as well as any supplements provided by the owners. Daily night check.Horses are turned out all day, 7 days a week, individually or in pairs. The grass paddocks are big and well maintained. Turn out time can be limited to owner and horse preference. Small medical paddocks are available for inclement weather or medical reasons.
The farm is conveniently located by the Westchester/Putnam border, just one mile off the Taconic State Parkway. We are 45 minutes from NYC and easily accessible from anywhere in the Hudson Valley and Southern Connecticut. We have riders of many disciplines including Hunter/ Jumpers, Dressage, Eventing, Pleasure & Youth Riders. Boots and Saddles Boarding Facility is located along the shawangunk mountains. We are on 110 acres with trails out back. We have 27 stalls which are very airy, matted and have automatic heated Nelson waterers and feeders. The barn has automatic Pyrahna fly spray system. Large outdoor riding ring with sprinkler system and lights. Barns have rubber pavers which is great on your horse no stress of standing on concrete. We use streufex horse bedding along with nice non-dusty sawdust. Stalls and water are cleaned daily, We have nice quality hay and grain. Your horses are pampered here as if there our own.
