Serenity Farm / Horse Boarding Farm in Mahopac, New York

Serenity Farm includes 15 Stall Barn, Newly built Indoor ring with dust free footing, Oversize outdoor ring, Limited Access to walking trails, Wash stall with hot and cold water, Large Grass paddocks, 2 Medical Paddocks & Round pen. The Farm offers the best individualized care for each horse, in a very private setting.
Horses enjoy lush hay throughout the day and night. Quality grains are fed twice or three times a day, as well as any supplements provided by the owners. Daily night check.Horses are turned out all day, 7 days a week, individually or in pairs. The grass paddocks are big and well maintained. Turn out time can be limited to owner and horse preference. Small medical paddocks are available for inclement weather or medical reasons.
The farm is conveniently located by the Westchester/Putnam border, just one mile off the Taconic State Parkway. We are 45 minutes from NYC and easily accessible from anywhere in the Hudson Valley and Southern Connecticut. We have riders of many disciplines including Hunter/ Jumpers, Dressage, Eventing, Pleasure & Youth Riders. Regular trainers and clinicians travel to the farm, or you can bring in a trainer of your choice! Melissa Bittner and her staff have an extensive knowledge of daily horse care. You can be reassured that your horse will be taken care with the utmost level of care and with the most personalized attention. Lay ups are welcome, Melissa has years of professional experience getting horses back in shape after an injury, as well as exercise/schooling rides for the dedicated competition horses.
