Urban Ridge Farm is conveniently located in Greenspring Valley. We are a private boarding facility. Riders at Urban Ridge Farm compete both locally and at rated shows throughout Maryland.

Specializing in timber, hurdle, flat track, foxhunting, and sport horses for training and lessons. Layups, sales prep horses, and broodmares accepted also.

We are a boarding,training, and hunter/jumper barn offering lessons, leases and horses for sale or consignment. This facility is one the most beautiful places to keep your horses, giving them the chance to be turnout in lush green fields and stay in airy, matted, double mucked, fluffy bedded stalls. Horses are fed up to three times a day. Turnout is flexible allowing your horse to go out in a group or in a private field. We have a brand new riding arena with blue stone footing that is dragged daily with new jumps. There is also a 14-acre field with cross country course soon to be created. AOPF Stables is a fabulous 82 acres full service boarding and training facility. The farm has facilities for everything from starting colts to developing advanced high level horses: round pen, indoor and 2 outdoor arenas for flat work and jumping, a cross country course including a water complex and even 12 acres of woods for trail riding, and access to miles of trails in the beautiful Greenspring Valley hunt country.
We grow and bale our own hay, both for round bales in winter and everyday feed square bales.
Our large paddocks turn out, accommodate 4-5 horses and provide ample grass for them to graze on. We place pride in favoring herd turn out, for as many hours as weather and seasons permit.
We offer full care stall board, limited field board and self care situation.

Head Instructor is a USDF Diamond Award Recipient, offering training and coaching from Training Level through Grand Prix. Nationally-Recognized Certified Trainer with many years of USDF and FEI competition experience.
An extensive training in Hunter Jumper and Eventing. Emphasis in correct foundation in Equitation, tons of mileage in young Green Horse to Performance Hunter. Meanwhile competing multiple horses through the eventing levels and attending the American Eventing Championships several years.

Skyline Training Stables is a small lesson, training and boarding facility located about 1 mile from Rt. 30 North, in quiet Hampstead, Maryland. We have our own lesson horses, or you can trailer your horse in. Negative Coggins required. Amenities: We have both an indoor ring that is approximately 65 x 160, and an outdoor sand ring that is approximately 110 x 225. A finished, heated tack room is available, wash stall with h/c water, and 10 x 10 matted stalls. 4 spacious grass fields with small herd turn out. The stalls are picked and cleaned daily and high quality hay and feed is fed, with each horse's diet custom designed with care. Water buckets are dumped and cleaned daily. Board includes feed, hay, stall cleaning, turn in/out, fly masks and blankets/sheets put on/changed as needed, determined by weather, not convenience.
