We are a private horse barn that focuses on individualized care programs for each and every horse. We specialize in post-surgical care, layups and rehabilitation of performance horses.

We have large box stalls with thick rubber matting and deep bedding to support and cushion. Horses are fed high quality hay 4 times daily. Stalls are picked and cleaned 1-2 times daily, 7 days per week.

Layup services available are daily hand walking, individual turn out, blanketing, stretching, massage, bandage changes and daily grooming. Medications and supplements can be administered in conjunction with the recommendations from your veterinarian.

Apple Jack Farm is a small quality show horse board barn located 2 miles outside of Oberlin,Oh. on the northeast corner of Oberlin Rd.and Butternut Ridge. We have a 11 large and airy (10x14 fully matted)stalls. Stalls are cleaned daily, horses are turned out when requested in our pasture or arena. We feed and water three times a day and use high qualty Progressive feed. Owners live onsite and have owned and showed Morgan and Miniature horses for 25 plus years. We have both a indoor and outdoor riding arena. (120x60). Monthly board: $300.00

We are a FULL CARE BOARDING FACILITY located 3/4 of a mile south of Lorain County Airport approx. 4 miles north of SR 511 in Oberlin. we have the turnpike and I-90 within 5 minutes of our place. Daily pasture turn-outs available with round bales in the winter. We have 10 acres with alternating pastures and other turn-out area's. Stalls are 12'x12'with indoor arena and 60' outdoor round pin. Full Care Boarding Cost $300.00 per month which includes hay, grain 2x per day (mornings & evenings) pasture turn-out (8 hours daily weather permitting) and stall cleaning.

Durkee Hill Stables is a newly renovated 19 stall facility with 10 lush grass pastures, all weather turnouts, an all weather riding arena, cross country schooling course and miles of trails. Lana purchased the neighboring property to increase turnout and expand the useable space for her horses and riders. The views are gorgeous and the atmosphere of Durkee Hill Stables makes it a place that you want to spend time at.

Lana likes to take advantage of the many amenities around the farm. She regularly takes her horses and students cross country schooling at several local cross country courses.
