River Ridge Farm is a beautiful private equestrian facility tucked into the rolling hills of Central Virginia and only five miles off the historic James River.

At River Ridge Farm we pride ourselves on providing the absolute first class horse care and management. Our spacious 12x12 wood finished stalls complete with wall to wall matting are designed with your horse in mind.

You'll also find a full indoor wash stall (H/C) complete with a Sprayer broom, several cross tie hook ups (Indoor/Outdoor), full tack room/lounge, and a bathroom INSIDE the barn!

We have a large 200x80 arena as well as open turf fields for hacking!

Our farm has several lush pastures that are equipped with automatic water systems. We turn out in small groups to ensure there is plenty of forage for everyone!

Our private boarding includes:

Feeding twice daily with quality grains, fresh hay daily, stall cleaning, pasture turn out (day or night, depending on season) with other horses, use of all of the facilities (hot/cold wash bay, lounge/tack room, riding ring, etc.), supplements provided by owner and administered by River Ridge Farm, Winter blanketing, free trailer parking, and extra packages available upon request!

Snapps Creek Stables is the perfect alternative to the large, intense, expensive and restrictive environments of the high-end stables. We have no walls of ribbons or trophies, no horses of prestigious bloodlines, and no haughty attitudes. Consequently, you do not invariably help subsidize such activities. We don't have dress codes (except ideally helmets and heals). We don't break horses, breed, sell, host shows, offer touristy riding by the hour or accept stallions. We do have comfortable facilities, a friendly atmosphere, and a commitment to quality care of your loved one in a nurturing, informal environment. Our specialty is the care of your horse. Retirement and special needs horses are most welcome.

Although we are not competitive, does not mean that you can't be. We have all the facilities needed to fulfill your training needs with a large arena, round pen, jumps, barrels and even a storage area for your trailer.

No Worries Farm offers full board with ever expanding facilities including a lit covered ring, lit outdoor ring, trails, and cross country jumping field. The covered area is 72 x 150 and the outdoor is 110 x 210. The center aisle barn has 14 spacious stalls along with two wash racks with hot and cold water. The barn also has a large tack room, feed room, bathroom and laundry room complete with washer and dryer for your horse laundry.

*As of May 2013, we have NEW footing in the outdoor arena!

I work closely with owners and each horse gets individualized care and attention. I offer Southern States/Legends pelleted feed to all horses daily, along with quality 24/7 forage . Fly spray (owner provides) during the summer months, blanketing during the winter months and everything else in between is provided at no additional cost to owner. Our horses enjoy maximum turnout time in small herds (5 or less). No trailer, not a problem...we have miles of tree lined trails right out the back gate along with many more just a short haul away! We also have a small lighted ring (currently beibg redone), large grass ring, shared tackroom space, bathroom and heated/air conditioned lounge for client use. My family and I own and live on the premises and all horses are checked and inspected throughout the day by me. We have a regular instructor, farrier, vet and dentist for our farm, but feel free to use your own. Farm is also open for your insured trainer/instructor sessions.
