Drinkwater Equestrian is a brand new facility in Williamsburg, Va. We have an 18 stall barn, each matted stall is 12x12 with an automatic water and Dutch door style window. We have a 130x230 lighted PVC fenced ring, four large turnouts and two smaller private turnouts. There is plenty of space to ride around the property and we are also minutes from a park with horse trails. We live on the property and take care of the horses ourselves. We take pride in the care we give our horses, my husband is a farrier and I am the hunter/jumper instructor and manager at Drinkwater Equestrian. We are open to all disciplines as well as having retired horses boarded. Anyone looking for horse boarding in the Williamsburg, New Kent, Richmond area?

We are at exit 211 in New Kent right off interstate 64. Full board each month is $600, there are 5 stalls available then you will be put on a wait list. Stalls cleaned twice daily (or as needed). We provide feed (to be discussed) and hay (to be discussed). If your horse/horses are on supplements we will make sure they get them daily/as needed. Turn in during the day/night (whichever you prefer), if you prefer one of these options. Each horse will have their own stall. We have a lighted riding ring (you can ride day/night). Here at Thorpland Stables we focus on beginner students and specialize in horsemanship, which is more than just riding. Horsemanship means learning skills and knowledge, and especially the attitude, feeling and responsibility for horses that makes a true horseman or horsewoman.
