Tara Best is the inspiration and driving force behind Stonehouse Stables, located on Lakewood Farm which is owned by Tara’s parents, Mayes and Cheryl Mathews. Growing up in Williamsburg and attending college at nearby Christopher Newport University, Tara brings her riding and teaching expertise as well as her business know how to this family owned and operated horse farm in Upper James City County.
