Family oriented, old, historic farm. Full care includes twice a day feeding. We offer boarding, lessons, training, and leasing. Although some of our boarders do show various disciplines from western pleasure through hunters,we are more of a trail/fun barn. We are not a show barn. Very laid back. Skyline Training Stables is a small lesson, training and boarding facility located about 1 mile from Rt. 30 North, in quiet Hampstead, Maryland. We have our own lesson horses, or you can trailer your horse in. Negative Coggins required. Amenities: We have both an indoor ring that is approximately 65 x 160, and an outdoor sand ring that is approximately 110 x 225. A finished, heated tack room is available, wash stall with h/c water, and 10 x 10 matted stalls. 4 spacious grass fields with small herd turn out. The stalls are picked and cleaned daily and high quality hay and feed is fed, with each horse's diet custom designed with care. Water buckets are dumped and cleaned daily. Smithwick Farm is nearly 100 acres professional horse farm where four of our trained race horses were inducted into the TB Hall of Fame. We offer field board, self-care full field care (we grain horses), and limited full board. Field care is $100/ ponies and $125/ horses per month, and the self-care is $200 per month.
