Glendevon is a 115 acre family farm offering a welcoming & fun atmosphere along with highly skilled training & riding instruction. Owner Leslie Deering has been training and teaching for nearly 30 years. She herself trained with an Olympic gold medalist. Leslie's students have become A pony clubbers and Advanced level three day event riders. Leslie also enjoys getting horses and riders out fox chasing safely and with confidence. Family oriented, old, historic farm. Full care includes twice a day feeding. We offer boarding, lessons, training, and leasing. Although some of our boarders do show various disciplines from western pleasure through hunters,we are more of a trail/fun barn. We are not a show barn. Very laid back. Children welcome with adult supervision. Weekend trail rides together. Ride our trails to the water(that is part of our property) and take your horse swimming. We believe in leaving our horses out in the pasture with run ins unless the weather is bad. Each Horse is brought in twice daily to their stall for feeding and injury check. Cedar Lane Equestrian Center is a Brand new facility offering custom care for your equine family. Full care board is $500. We have 3 separate barns and pasture. All with four rail fencing, heated auto waterers, and run in sheds. Barn 1 is a 7 stall center aisle barn with a 12 x 12 tackroom (with 7 tack lockers). We are a full service boarding facility on a gorgeous 15 acres. We offer stall boarding or pasture boarding. We are located on the beautiful Eastern Shore in Warwick, MD. This is a quiet and peaceful farm with lots of Love for all animals! We have a large indoor sand arena and a round pen great for doing lunge work. Arena Rental is available for groups or just for solo riders that need to get out of the weather. Welcome to Merkel Farms, a family owned and operated equestrian center run by Stephanie Serenati-Merkel. Merkel Farm is nestled between Bowie State University and the Patuxent Wildlife Preserve in Bowie, MD and is within easy reach from the Washington D.C., Annapolis and Baltimore metro areas. We have miles of trails surrounding the property. We also have a lighted indoor and outdoor ring which allows for boarders and lesson students to ride year round. We have two barns and two separately fenced fields for turnout. The outdoor and indoor rings are dragged throughout the year to maintain optimal footing for horses. Merkel Farms also runs a summer camp and host a winter show series.
