Foundation HorseTrainer - My experience includes starting young horses, developing exceptional western pleasure and trail horses, and showing/competing Quarter Horses in Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Barrels, and Reining. I began my training experience as a working protege under a lead trainer almost 20 years ago. My services include foundation work with young inexperienced horses, starting young horses to ride, desensitizing horses of all ages and experience, and finishing dependable trail or western pleasure horses. I believe that horses should work with people as willing partners; they should never have to live or work out of fear or force. Training is on site in the beautiful Eagle Valley with access to many BLM trails (perfect for developing a reliable trail prospect). My training package includes complementary lessons with the horse owner. I feel that is crucial to the over-all success of the horse and owner to incorporate adequate communication throughout the training/teaching regimen. I have an open-door policy allowing the owner to observe training sessions at any time.
