Nestled in the beautiful Willamette Valley, Herrold Stables offers an exquisite view of the west hills. As an owner occupied business we have been offering a peaceful riding experience for over 15 years. Our premier facility boasts of a 100 x 200 outdoor all weather and a 60 x 120 indoor arena. Riders also have access to a well maintained 60’ sand round pen. Year a round green pasture turnout available. Each private stall includes an attached 12 x 42' paddock. We specialize in serving the needs of the adult hobby rider and fun show enthusiast. Our Natural Horsemanship background, and over 30 years of equine experience enables us to offer professional training for both the horse & rider. Since 1982 the Washington County 4-H Wagon Train has provided opportunities for youth and families to experience a living history, walking or riding in the footsteps of pioneers. We create unique, achievable goals and provide the framework for problem-solving and personal growth. Participants hike or ride throughout the day and enjoy shared meals, work and play, song and campfires, crafts and community. Westside Stables offers week long summer camps for elementary school age children of all levels. Camps days are structured around proper horsemanship, learning not only to ride but the day to day care of the horses. Of course we also enjoy horse related crafts and games. Our facilities offer a professional atmosphere in a fun and safe country setting with adult instructors.

River Ranch is offering summer day camps in 2018 tailor made to your child's needs. All day horse camps and half day pony camps sessions will be available Monday-Friday from June thu August. Camp curriculum will include learning to care for, lead, groom, and tack your horse, riding instruction in flatwork and equitation, riding demonstrations, as well as information given on horse care, riding theory, and safety techniques. We are offering horse camps:

Summer camps - Week long $325/week
June 26 - June 30
August 14 - 18
August 28 - September 1

Everyday will encompass art, games with horses, a horse study education curriculum, life skill learning session with the horses, chores, lunch with activity, riding, trail time, ground work, grooming, etc. Lots of fun and horse time.

The camps will be from 9:00 - 3:00 each day.
After and before care is available for a fee.
$300 for week long camps.
