As an owner occupied business we have been offering a peaceful riding experience for over 15 years. Our premier facility boasts of a 100 x 200 outdoor all weather and a 60 x 120 indoor arena. Since 1982 the Washington County 4-H Wagon Train has provided opportunities for youth and families to experience a living history, walking or riding in the footsteps of pioneers. We create unique, achievable goals and provide the framework for problem-solving and personal growth. Participants hike or ride throughout the day and enjoy shared meals, work and play, song and campfires, crafts and community. We are offering horse camps:

Summer camps - Week long $325/week
June 26 - June 30
August 14 - 18
August 28 - September 1

Everyday will encompass art, games with horses, a horse study education curriculum, life skill learning session with the horses, chores, lunch with activity, riding, trail time, ground work, grooming, etc. Lots of fun and horse time.

The camps will be from 9:00 - 3:00 each day.
After and before care is available for a fee.
$300 for week long camps.

River Ranch is offering summer day camps in 2018 tailor made to your child's needs. All day horse camps and half day pony camps sessions will be available Monday-Friday from June thu August. Camp curriculum will include learning to care for, lead, groom, and tack your horse, riding instruction in flatwork and equitation, riding demonstrations, as well as information given on horse care, riding theory, and safety techniques. Fun summer day camps for kids!! The kids get to ride twice a day plus learn about horse parts, how to groom and tack up, horse breeds, horse colors, and basic nutrition. We strive to help kids be safe and confident around horses! We keep our camps small to ensure that kids are getting lots of individualized help on and off of the horses. Our beginner camps are designed for those that have never been on a horse before, while our intermediate camps are to help those that are at least steering in the walk by themselves. Camps are $525 for the week, Monday to Friday, and run from 9:00am-3:00pm. Little Stars Horse Camp is a week long day camp for kids 8 and up. We also have a 1/2 day Pony Camps for kids 4-7. We offer a fun and hands on approach to horsemanship. We focus on safety around horse, grooming, caring for horses and riding. Each camp is limited to 6 campers. Horse camp hours are 8:30am-4pm Mon-Thurs, 8:30-1:30pm on Friday with our grand "Showdeo" starting at 1:30pm when campers show family and friends everything they learned during the week.
