My name is Cody Dennis. I am a farrier servicing the Newnan and surrounding areas. I am experienced with hot/cold shoeing and also have experience with a wide variety of breeds and disciplines of riding.

Rider, Trainer, Trimmer. Over 30 years with horses and more than 15 trimming. I use trimming techniques, bodywork, exercises on the ground and under saddle, environmental support, nutritional evaluation, work evaluation, and much more in order to develop a rehabilitation plan to get your horse to the highest function.

It is not uncommon for chronically lame horses I treat to recover comfort in a short period of time and full function within 12 months of monthly trims. I have corrected pigeon-toed horses, paddling, club foot, and more. Better collection, better work, better bodies, all build from better movement...which starts with the feet.

If you have a horse that your vet, your farrier, or even YOU have given up on DON'T LOSE HOPE, there might be another option. I have recovered horses destined for euthanasia and given them the best movement of their life...there are other solutions. It's a matter of working with the horse and adjusting the trim to what the body tells you it needs.

My client roster has been booked for over 2 years. I accept clients dedicated to the holistic horsecare lifestyle. I only consider additions near or at current locations or evaluation consultations.

Regular Trim: $60 (1-3 horses)
Pull Shoes: $25 and up
Trip Fees: $10 and up depending on mileage
Full Eval/Consultation with trim: $150

Trims that do not fall within 'normal' maintenance range will incur additional fees of at least $10. Time and effort will determine total cost.

I specialize in barefoot rehabilitation utilizing alternate hoof protection, such as hoof boots.
I use a whole horse approach- the hooves are illustrators of everything from diet to injuries up above; and conversely, hoof pain can cause issues from compensatory movement. The whole thing is a wonderful puzzle I enjoy solving to give my clients the best results I'm capable of for them and their horse.

I currently have a limited number of openings for 6 horses or less at a single location. Service area is limited to a 45 minute radius from Moreland, GA.

Barefoot hoof care specialist with over 20 years in the field. Very experienced in rehab of founder, navicular, and transitioning from shod to bare. I trim horses in most every discipline, at every stage of their life. I have trained with Cindy Sullivan, Pete Ramey, Jaime Jackson, and several other preeminent people in the field of natural horse care. I approach trimming with the whole horse approach. Balanced trimming, attention to diet, movement, tack, rider balance and environment (and more) are crucial for full horse health and hoof function.

Trimming starts at $45 per regular sized horse, $35 for minis, and I'm sorry, but I no longer trim drafts. I do trim goats and donkeys who stand well. My days of operation are Sunday through Wednesday, 8:00 am to Noon. No charge for pulling shoes. I carry fit kits for Easycare, Scoot, and Flex boots with me, and will be happy to work with you to find the right size and style boot for your horse if they need them.
