I've been training horses for close to 40 years and my husband who helps me has been working with horses for 20 years. I've shown at county, state and national levels winning multiple championships over my 40 year career in showmanship, horsemanship, western pleasure, trail, competitive trail riding and cowboy challenge competitions. I enjoy helping people start their horses, problem solve and introduce to challenges on the trail. I also believe in extensive ground work first and developing a relationship built on trust and respect. We do not allow spurs to be used on horses in our barn....instead we ride with our legs and teach them to move off leg pressure. May take a little longer to train a horse this way, but horses that leave here, leave happy with good attitudes and no vices developed. I will guarantee that and your satisfaction or your money back. I also expect you to be part of the training process - this is very important...if you can't be part of the process how are you going to pick up where we leave off? Bob and I will come to your home to assess your horse in his environment prior to taking on your case. If we can't help you, we will direct you to someone who can. I can also train horses to drive a cart, but you will need to have purchased your own easy entry cart and harness and have the harness and a cart fitted to your horse prior to me taking on your case.
