Crystal has been teaching horseback riding lessons in the California Bay Area for more than a decade and has successfully brought students of all ages along from their first ride to the show ring and horse ownership. Now relocated to the Austin, Texas area she is available for lessons, training, and clinics. A United States Dressage Foundation Silver Medalist, Crystal herself is an active competitor in the dressage show arena and has competed through Intermediate while schooling all the Grand Prix. Some of her accolades include receiving the California Dressage Society Jane Jackson Scholarship which she used for clinics with George Williams and Alfredo Hernandez. She also received a grant from the Dressage Foundation for USDF instructor certification. She was a USDF All Breeds Champion and CDS East Bay Chapter champion in 2014, in years prior was open third champion and reserve training level. She has also coached a few of her juniors to multiple championships. She continues her education by attending lessons, clinics, and symposium. Crystal believes all horses can benefit from dressage and enjoys bringing along the talented super star and non-traditional horses. Crystal utilizes natural horsemanship ground work in concert with traditional dressage to create a happy, relaxed, and balanced partner.
