Gaye Goodwin has the experience and teaching skills to help you have more harmony with your horse, whether you ride trails or are a serious dressage competitor. A USDF Bronze Medal rider award recipient, Gaye's accomplishments in the show ring have been made on horses she has brought along herself, not on previously trained horses that were purchased to attain scores, and the journey has been part of her instruction; a clarity about dressage gleaned from the experience of learning the levels, and from training with some of the best in Southern California and the US. Gaye can help you ride better, with dressage instruction, and/or aid you to have confidence on the trail. She is also available to train your horse(s) during the week, if you are busy with a career and need them to keep fit and/or show ready. Professional and client references are available!
Kind, and compassionate, Gaye always puts the horse's interests first. She is also a certified equine sports massage therapist and a natural hoof trimmer. Her background in horses extends 30+ years and includes hunter/jumper, eventing, and exercising and massaging horses at the track, and riding for clients and trainers. Gaye has focused on dressage for the last 25 years. She works with problem horses and specializes in OTTBs.
