MEGHAN MARKHAM of M&M DRESSAGE offers several different programs that focus on the correct training of both horse and rider. She has been teaching riders and training horses for the last 14 years with her main focus on dressage training and competing. Meghan enjoys working with all levels, from beginner to advanced, while using a variety of training methods. Some of these methods range from a regular lesson program to concentrated training programs. She understands how important it is to train each horse & rider based on their physical and mental capabilities. The horse's health and well-being as an individual is her number one priority. Her programs produce horses with solid technical abilities and students who know how to ride correctly handling a variety of training situations. All her students learn to 'really' ride and work their horses in-and-out of the show arena.
Meghan is dedicated to always improving herself and becoming the best rider, teacher and trainer possible. She is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist and a successful FEI competitor. She currently competes several of her own horses and horses owned by clients. Meghan has successfully trained students and horses to Third Level and has competed through Prix St. George and schooling Intermediate-1.
CANTERWOOD RIDING CLUB is just a 5 minute drive from Highway 16, in Gig Harbor, Washington. This fantastic training facility is located just outside the private gates, and offers 24-hour security. The Canterwood community also offers an active lifestyle with world-class golf, tennis, swimming programs, playgrounds, formal clubhouse. What a wonderful place to train horses! Indoor & Outdoor arena's is home to all Meghan's students and clients.
