Maine Horse and Rider is a local, family owned tack and farm store. We are located in the Holden Plaza on Route 1A just a mile and a half from the end of 395 and the Brewer town line. In order to best serve you, we are open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 until 5:00 and Sunday from 9:00 until 3:00.
Our goal is to offer one-stop shopping for all of your horse and farm needs. We carry riding apparel for children and adults from Kerrits, Romfh, Tuff Rider, F.I.T.S., Ovation, Goode Rider, Equine Couture and more. We have riding boots and cowboy boots from Ariat, Mountain Horse, Ovation, Equistar, and Aeros, saddles from M.Toulouse, Pessoa, Camelot, Thorowgood and Weaver. There is a full Western department with tack from Weaver, Classic Equine, Professionals Choice, Impact Gel and more. We also carry Cruel Girl jeans! We have blankets and flywear from Horseware Ireland, Eous, Tuff Rider, and Cashel. You will also find stable supplies, veterinary supplies, electric fencing, gates, waterers, panels, feeders, shavings, Nutrena and Triple Crown feeds and more! We even carry Nutrena feeds for poultry, pigs, rabbits, goats, sheep, dogs and cats.
