Iron Horse is a full service equestrian facility that offers show horse training, boarding, camps year round, typical riding lessons and special needs riding lessons. We also host birthday parties and special events.

We are a small family owned farm, offering beginner horse backing lessons for adults, children and the timid. The atmosphere here is casual and inviting and safety is our biggest concern.

We offer Western riding lessons and begin by learning all about a horse and how they think, then we teach you how to groom a horse, how to saddle up a horse, how to ride, then how to unsaddle, cool him down and groom him after the ride. So you understand the experience from beginning to end. You spend time getting to know your lesson horse and of course treats of carrots and apples are always appreciated.

Marcy has over 40 years of experience in the horse world. She started teaching herself to ride on her first horse, Whiskey, at a very young age and by the age of 10 she was showing Saddlebred horses on a national level. Marcy later began teaching students at Double TTK Ranch in Marietta, Georgia. Along with teaching lessons, Marcy also taught horse and pony camps in the summer, led trail rides on the weekends, and was responsible for the daily care and maintenance of over 100 horses. In 2002, she and her husband David decided to purchase their own place and have called Blue Springs Farm home ever since. Her students include many APHA Top 10 riders, the 2002 APHA World Champion in 10 and Under Trail, multiple IEA National Champion teams, and individual IEA National Champions in both horsemanship and reining.

Hi there! I'm a Dressage Rider, Trainer, L Judge and clinician. I am an USDF Bronze & Silver medalist and also an L Program Graduate with Distinction and working on my USEF little r application. I do lots of types of clinics - Ride a Test, Western dressage, Pony Club, etc. I have a pretty unique style in that I work with riders on the ground to get body awareness as I'm also a AFAA certified fitness professional and then work on their position to see how they can influence their horse correctly, kindly and classically without fighting or frustration. Riding is supposed to be FUN! I help riders who want to show find those savvy points they are missing as well as polish the strengths of their horse and maintain the quality of the gaits to present an oh so very lovely picture to the judge. Our program is open to people of any ages and any ability, but our priority goes to those looking for a therapeutic environment. We do not focus on competition and our program participants have a large part in designing their horsemanship journey. CBC Aspire Equestrian offers all-around equestrian services to North Georgia areas including Sugar Hill, Cumming, Buford, and more. CBC is owned and operated by head trainer Brooke Cohrs.
Brooke began her equestrian journey at the age of seven; studying both english and western disciplines. After mastering both in hand and under saddle horsemanship, she moved onto training roles for both horse and rider. Her riding and training skills continued to excel when she discovered her primary passion for dressage. Brooke became a fierce competitor schooling upper levels and becoming a USED Bronze Medalist.
Today, Brooke has over thirteen years of significant training experience working with riders and horses of all ages and disciplines. While dressage is still her most loved discipline, she enjoys and has an appreciation for all styles of horsemanship. Brooke believes in open and honest communication between student and trainer and focuses on finding harmony between horse and rider.
