At the young age of 8 years old Megan began riding and fell in love instantly, but by the time she was 10 was showing on the "a" circuit with some of the top trainers in the tri state area. Throughout high school Megan continued her riding career showing from Ocala Fl, to Hits NY, and even marshall and sterling finals. Once she graduated Megan gave up her amateur status and has since been working with both young horses and riders starting them from the ground up and helping them reach their goals. I have been riding Hunter/Jumpers for over 20 years and a proud owner since the age of 13. I have been teaching Hunter/Jumper, Equitation, and Dressage riding lessons and training in these disciplines for over 10 years . I pride myself in the ability to take students and/or their mounts from the absolute beginning to the peak of their talent. I thoroughly enjoy what I do as a profession and my primary focus is always SAFETY and I believe in the philosophy that the horse comes first. During the early years of my career, I worked as a show groom for many trainers. I groomed at local horse shows all the way to Devon as well as The National Horse Show. I have been the beginner riding instructor at Morning Star Farm for 5 years. This includes children with handicaps such as Hearing Impaired, Children with Autism, Behavior problems, and Traumatic Brain Injury.
