Gypsy Farms offers both English and Western horseback riding lessons for children and adults starting at the age of 6. Lessons are offered at the beginner and intermediate levels in most areas of English and Western riding. At Gypsy Farms, we want students to focus on good, safe horsemanship while learning to understand equine behavior, including body language, as a means to better communicate with the horse. While safety is our primary concern, we encourage equestrians to learn how to care for, groom and tack their horse. Riders are not limited to a particular riding style or focus and can change disciplines to find what best suits them.

We have two wonderful ponies and one horse that we use for lessons. Laura has experience teaching all levels of riders. We have several students competing successfully at the "A" shows and we also have students who have just started riding. It is our desire to help you and your horse compete or just ride at the level you are comfortable with. The beauty of the shows we haul to is that they provide a level for all to compete at their skill and comfort level. There are classes offered all the way from Green as Grass rider to the experienced Non-Pro. Part of your training cost includes a free lesson each week. If you are in the area we would encourage you to come and ride more often to practice what you are learning. We offer lessons to riders of all skill levels from the complete beginner to the experienced equestrian. You are welcome to take lessons on our horse or haul in your own horse. Fallon rode her first reining horse in 1999 and this experience immediately had her hooked. She bought her first reining horse from Roger Brazeau, whom she later apprenticed for. She showed that horse for 4 years while still competing in all-around events on her other horses. It took her several years to begin specializing in reining, but Fallon believes that her experience competing in many different disciplines has only improved her knowledge of horses. Fallon has competed in and apprenticed with trainers specializing in working cow horse, cutting, team roping, ranch versatility, western pleasure, western riding, horsemanship, showmanship, hunter under saddle, and hunt seat equitation. She spent 1 year apprenticing with western pleasure trainer, Doug Baucom before moving to Collinsville, TX to apprentice with NRHA Hall of Fame trainer, Roger Brazeau.

At HCF we offer a full service boarding and training facility. Our school of riding specializes in hunt seat equitaion, Hunter and Jumper style of riding and we also have some western riding, dressage and cross country jumping. We teach the basics of riding and horse care along with anything else that our experience can offer. Our summer overnight camps are a joy for local kids along with children from all over the world and we also have several weeks of day camp. I have 22 years of experience with showing, breaking, finishing, cart training, lessons, maintenance, show preparation; basically everything horse related. I work mostly with Quarter Horses, Paints, and other stock horses but have and love to work with Arabs, Morgans, T. Walkers, etc. Showed AQHA nationally and won many national and state titles.
