Conveniently located, The Equestrian Reserve is in Alpharetta close to Johns Creek, Duluth, Cumming, Suwanee, and outlying communities. We are just 15 minutes north of the Atlanta perimeter.

At The Equestrian Reserve, we are certain you will discover there is no other equestrian program that offers such dynamic instructional programs meeting the needs of all riders including children ages 4 -18 and adults.

Whether a beginner or an advanced rider, we have developed numerous age appropriate introductory programs, a strong lesson program providing an ongoing skill based four level lesson continuum certificate program, and advanced equestrian opportunities.

Our school has well trained schooling and performance show horses to enable us to offer all around instruction utilizing AQHA standards. We train you in the disciplines: English Hunt Seat including equitation, hunter under saddle and jumping and/or Western Pleasure including horsemanship, showmanship, trail and western riding. Although there is no pressure to enter the world of showing, the opportunity is there as we have created a forty member competition team serving as a springboard for equestrians to compete on the national circuit.

Because of her previous years as a teacher and elementary school principal in the school system, she has truly created a unique equestrian academy and horseback riding school that has sound educational practices with safety always at the forefront. Our mission is to support self-growth, promote inclusivity and build a connection within the community through animal-assisted activities designed to improve cognitive, social, emotional, and physical functioning. Our program is open to people of any ages and any ability, but our priority goes to those looking for a therapeutic environment. We do not focus on competition and our program participants have a large part in designing their horsemanship journey. I am an equine bodyworker and use the Masterson Method, a unique form of bodywork that uses the horse’s nervous system to help relieve tension in key junctions of the horse’s body to improve performance, communication and your relationship with your horse. I am extremely passionate about this work because I’ve seen first hand with our horses what it can do for a horse and horse and rider.
