Riding lessons are offered for beginners through advanced. All lessons are private and customized to the individual.

Dressage training – intro through FEI levels, using a classical dressage approach. – show prep and coaching also available.

Foundation building for riders of all disciplines (western, huntseat, gaited, etc), using natural horsemanship and classical dressage principles. We focus on:

Especially for beginners and new horse owners, we offer lessons in complete horsemanship – including ground work, fitting of tack, horse health care and management, and more.

A horse trainer and riding instructor for over 40 years, Sandi has extensive experience working with a variety of challenges and unique situations, including:

• Adult beginner riders
• Riders returning after a long break
• Riders dealing with fear and confidence issues
• Horses with a history of abuse and mishandling
• Horses with limited, incomplete, or incorrect training
• Horses of many different breeds and temperaments

$60.00 per private hour on your own horse (boarded here or trailered in); $65 per private hour with one of our lesson horses. For lessons off-site, travel fee applies.

Casey began riding in 1989, when she was 5yo. at Chastain Stables, in Atlanta GA, learning Hunter/Jumpers. In 1990 she start competing in the Hunters. Casey moved to Roswell GA and started riding and competing in local and the 'A's with Linda Allen in Marietta, GA. After She moved down to McDonough, GA she started riding with Barry Lane. She moved back to Roswell in 1999 and started showing in 'AA' Jumpers with Bob Buxton. After moving back to McDonough, Casey went to Merideth Manor International Equestrian School in Waverly, WV where she studied Equine Health and Equine Massage Therapy. After school she rode with Barbara Bancroft until she moved back down to GA. She opened Creekwood Stables and rode with Daniel Geitner.
During operating Creekwood Stables, Casey has produced many Hunters and Jumpers that have won from local - AA shows through out the zone. "Why is my horse doing this?!?"

This is the most common response I receive from owner's. At Säker, our mission is simple, no really simple, as in "KISS" (Keep It Surprisingly Simple).

As a student of Säker, you focus on this fundamental principle, "KISS". Why you ask, well I say why not! Most people, especially women (and the horse industry is 2/3rds women), tend to overthink what they consider to be "problems" with their horse. So our mission at Säker is to break down this communication barrier with "KISS". We explain that horse training is 90% common sense (i.e. "Do I really want my horse to do this?"), and 10% know-how ("No, so I will do this instead."). We focus on removing the "emotion factor" (No, your horse is not attempting to drive you mad, well, most of the time.).

"Wait, wait," you say, "But I don't have a horse...". Even better. You get to learn from beginning to end training, care, management, and horse/life lessons without previous influence, and without the barriers put in place by previous riding experiences.
By focusing on "KISS", we are able to produce a more confident you (in the barn, showring, on the trail, and yes, even at work or at school). Säker means confidence. Luella Stables offers boarding, lessons for the beginner and intermediate rider and trail riding for all ages and requires no prior experience to participate. Lessons are offered Monday through Thursday. We specialize in first time riders and molding each student into all around equestrians. Students experience grooming, saddling, feeding, bathing and more about the overall experience of owning a horse. Students are welcome at the age of 4 and 5 but they are truly capable of gaining the most at ages 6 and up. I suggest our Friday night rides to children younger than 6 and please bring the entire family! It's only $10 per person for a 20 minute trail ride. We offer this every Friday 4:30 to dark. Camps are offered through out the school year and summer break. Please check our web site for upcoming dates.
