Conveniently located, The Equestrian Reserve is in Alpharetta close to Johns Creek, Duluth, Cumming, Suwanee, and outlying communities. We are just 15 minutes north of the Atlanta perimeter.

At The Equestrian Reserve, we are certain you will discover there is no other equestrian program that offers such dynamic instructional programs meeting the needs of all riders including children ages 4 -18 and adults.

Whether a beginner or an advanced rider, we have developed numerous age appropriate introductory programs, a strong lesson program providing an ongoing skill based four level lesson continuum certificate program, and advanced equestrian opportunities.

Our school has well trained schooling and performance show horses to enable us to offer all around instruction utilizing AQHA standards. We train you in the disciplines: English Hunt Seat including equitation, hunter under saddle and jumping and/or Western Pleasure including horsemanship, showmanship, trail and western riding. Although there is no pressure to enter the world of showing, the opportunity is there as we have created a forty member competition team serving as a springboard for equestrians to compete on the national circuit.

Because of her previous years as a teacher and elementary school principal in the school system, she has truly created a unique equestrian academy and horseback riding school that has sound educational practices with safety always at the forefront. Claudia is a experienced horse trainer and rider. She has been riding all her life and training for several years. She offers her riding lessons to all ages any level. If you're not interested in riding lessons she offers for you to come out and just ride as well. Barrel lessons are available but you must have your own horse. Devon Olivier is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia. She rode on the eventing team while attending college. She was on the 2016 USEA collegiate national championship team. She won the Open Prelim division at FENCE horse trials on 4-17-17 on her horse Karisma. She won the Open Prelim division at Paradise Farms on 2-17-17. Devon has won the individual Gold in the intercollegiate challenge at Chattahoochee Hills horse trials twice while on the UGA eventing team. Devon has trained numerous Off the Track Thoroughbreds and has gone to multiple national competitions with her horses. Devon has been a working student for Michael and Sharon Poulin (Bronze Medal at the Barcelona Olympics in dressage). While there she worked on getting correct and effective dressage training under her belt. She then worked for Mollie Zobel in South Carolina who was an upper level event trainer. Devon has worked with or taken lessons with Doug Payne, Elly Schobel, Michael Poulin, Sharon Poulin, Gwen Poulin. She has taken clinics with Werner Geven, Dom Schramm, Kyle Carter, Leslie Law, Jon Holling just to name a few. Devon offers lessons in dressage, jumpers and eventing. Devon has training privileges at Ashland Farms in Walnut Grove which offers a cross country course from starter thru Prelim. They also have two dressage arenas and a jumping arena. MorningSong Stables offers Riding lessons for the begginers to advanced riders. We offer lessons in dressage,show jumping and cross country. Please contact Kaye for more information. You can bring your horse in for lessons or use one of ours.

Luella Stables offers boarding, lessons for the beginner and intermediate rider and trail riding for all ages and requires no prior experience to participate. Lessons are offered Monday through Thursday. We specialize in first time riders and molding each student into all around equestrians. Students experience grooming, saddling, feeding, bathing and more about the overall experience of owning a horse. Students are welcome at the age of 4 and 5 but they are truly capable of gaining the most at ages 6 and up. I suggest our Friday night rides to children younger than 6 and please bring the entire family! It's only $10 per person for a 20 minute trail ride. We offer this every Friday 4:30 to dark. Camps are offered through out the school year and summer break. Please check our web site for upcoming dates.
