Pine Crest Farm LLC. offers ample opportunity for adults and children of all ages to get involved with riding lessons. We pride ourselves on our hands on approach that focuses on horse and stable management as well as hunt seat equitation in the riding ring. Pine Crest Farm has private and group lessons available for the budding equestrian, adult looking to get back into riding, or the advanced student who wants to sharpen their skills for the show ring!

Our lesson program offers private or group lessons at reasonable rates with sibling and referral discounts! We individualize each lesson and try to keep the group at 4 or smaller to give each rider the most attention. Pine Crest Farm also offers horse showing opportunities to all students who take lessons. Swift Creek School of Equitation has been in practice since 1978, offering a convenient location with a great facility and accredited staff which includes, Jessie Clise Lohr (owner/trainer), Molly Alaimo and Ashley Smoral. Our riding program is designed for beginner riders up through advanced levels, ages 5 and up. The main goals are horsemanship, exercise and fun for all ages and abilities. Our riders continue to succeed at mini shows, local shows and USEF national shows. We are also the organizers of The Central Virginia Show Jumping Association. Kelsey is an upper level eventing rider who recently moved to the Hanover area and is looking for some new students! Kelsey has competed her 2 horses from their first event to the CCI* and intermediate levels. She also has experience in dressage, jumpers, 4H, and polocrosse. Kelsey takes students to local horse trials and 4H shows, including the state 4H Championships. She can travel and accommodates trailer ins (has a nice set of show jumps and a handful of XC fences on her farm, with a dressage ring in the works). Hello everyone! Wanted to introduce the new and upcoming English and Western training facility in the heart of Spotslyvania Virgina. We are a work in progress but have BIG goals and need your help to get there! We have now put in our arena! Working on getting a few jumps as well to start with. As of now we are offering the following:
-Ring Rental
-30/60/90 day horse training program
-Trailer your horse in for lessons
-Working students ( I have a few horses I want to use for lessons but they need some more experienced riders to work them. Lessons are free on these horses!)
-Pony rides/birthday parties
