I provide team roping and break away roping schools an private lessons, speacializing in Heeling and Heading learning how to make consistent runs working as a team. I have been giving roping instructions and competing in Rodeo since 1982. I have had great success in helping people learn and understand the fundamentals of roping. My business is close to Msla and boasts a beautiful 80x120 indoor arena, a large colorful jump field, reliable lesson horses/ponies and lessons tailored to your riding level/personal goals. If you have your own horse and trailer you can haul to my place or I can meet you at our lovely local equestrian park, The Big Sky Horse Park.
I teach both English and Western to riders of all ages and all levels. My strengths are in the jumping arena. I really enjoy teaching young horses and riders to jump! I also have lots of experience with the basics and am always happy to pass on my knowledge!
If you have a horse you are uncomfortable trial riding I would be excited to help educate you both and build your confidence! I take clients in my lesson program trail riding in small groups(total of 4 riders including myself) so we can trot on the trails! We go for an hour and a half and students are welcome to be much more involved than just riding on the trail. They can help with catching the horses, loading the tack and the horses, grooming, tacking up and unsaddling and of course giving treats!
