This is a one of a kind program our instructor's build a foundation of Confidence with our students in ground work first, than riding and then the basics of trick training. the founder of our program has taught all of the horses and has shown them all over the country. Our horses are of average height to pony's to mintures.
Our founding was taught and mentored by the best movie trainers in the industry.And he hopes to pass on this art.This is a very well rounded Program with art, music etc..this instruction is for all levels of riders from beginers to the advanced.. We also are the home of Tinkerbelle the flying horse! and she does birthday parties here or at your home!

We do not require formal riding attire but ask that the student wears long pants and closed-toe shoes with a short heel. We have riding helmets to lend to you initially to minimize your expenses while you are giving this exciting sport a try.

Qualified Instructor that will travel to you or you can ride at my facility using the school horses provided in the Poolesville/Montgomery County MD area. I specialize in finding your perfect seat for a comfortable and correct ride. My background is in hunt seat equitation on the flat and over fences, as well as training level dressage. I have been a rider most of my life, attended and graduated from Southern Seminary College in VA and rode on the intercollegiate open equestrian team under JT Tallon - courses included stable management, hunt seat equitation, equine biology. Currently, I personally ride only dressage but continue to teach hunt seat and training level dressage. I am 44 years old and have a lot of experience to help you feel comfortable with your horse on the ground and under tack. I believe in building a solid relationship with your horse and teaching horse care as well as horseback riding. I teach private lessons for $60 per hour and semi private lessons for $50 per hour. Skyline Training Stables is a small lesson, training and boarding facility located about 1 mile off of Rt. 30 North, in quiet Hampstead, Maryland. We have our own lesson horses, or you can trailer your horse in. Lessons: Private 1 Hour: $50.00 (Our horse) Private 1 Hour: $50.00 (Trailer in) Private 1 Hour: $45.00 (Student Boarder) Semi-Private and Group Lesson rates available on request. Negative Coggins required for all ship-ins. Amenities: We have both an indoor ring that is approximately 65 x 160, and an outdoor sand ring that is approximately 110 x 225. A finished tack room is available, wash stall with h/c water, and 10 x 10 matted stalls. 4 spacious grass fields with small herd turn out. The stalls are picked and cleaned daily and high quality hay and feed is fed, with each horse's diet custom designed with care. Water buckets are dumped and cleaned daily. Board includes feed, hay, stall cleaning, turn in/out, fly masks and blankets/sheets put on/changed as needed, determined by weather, not convenience.
