Enjoy a relaxing guided horseback ride through one of Lancaster County’s hidden treasures—the Ironstone Ranch at Stone Gables Estate.
You and your horse will travel through shady forest trails and trek across open pastures. You will pass through the iconic Star Barn Village, ride over the original railroad bed where Abraham Lincoln’s funeral train and the Liberty Bell once traversed, and pass the fully restored Herr’s Mill Covered Bridge on your peaceful journey over 275 acres of forests & fields.

Abbie Gibson grew up riding in Charleston, South Carolina. As a junior she qualified and competed in several state and national equitation championships. Abbie rode for the Skidmore College riding team where she was selected to ride for the national team. There she helped the team place in the top 3 in the country 2014, 2015, 2016. She also went on to train, ride, and show in both Germany and England.
After college, Abbie went on the become the assistant coach for the Savannah College of Art and Design’s equestrian team. There she helped the team claim several national championship titles including, IHSA, ANRC, and Tournament of Champions.
In 2019, Abbie moved to Pennsylvania and worked as the assistant rider/trainer for Troy Hendricks before moving over to Johnna Stables... See More

Our instructor is very patient and kind, puts everyone at ease. She loves to teach new riders of all ages. Her teaching doesn't just stop with riding, she takes great pride in teaching horsemanship, sportsmanship and the correct way to care for horses. She has several students showing at rated shows as well as some horses & ponies that she trained. Leanne's main focus is hunters, jumpers and equitation but also teaches some cross country and balanced seat. Leanne also does some training, whether your horse or pony needs started or just a refresher course. She takes a interest in problem horses and works right along with the owner to insure he/she is able to understand the training that is done to their horse. Leanne is the owner of the farm and also the main person teaching so you don't have to worry about having different instructors all the time. Wolf Hill Farm is a friendly place for children and adults to learn to ride. I provide lessons for ages 3 and up. The lessons are for beginners through advanced. I also give the oppertunity for my students to show on a show circuit. I teach both english and western lessons and have horses and ponies for lessons.
