Here at Meraki Farm, we strive to help people (Children and adults alike) learn to communicate with horses in a safe and friendly way to encourage a lasting relationship between horse and rider. We expect our students to learn to care for, tack, groom, and bathe the horses along with learning to control the horse both on the ground and in the saddle. We will be doing fun shows for students to show off their newly learned skills and will have summer camps up and running for next summer. We are currently geared towards beginner and intermediate students both English and western including showing. We have several very safe lesson horses for any level of rider. Lessons are available for students ages 8 and up (Younger on a case by case basis) on weekday evenings and weekends at our farm in Fombell, PA. Horseback riding provides a fun way to develop patience and understanding as well as a sense of responsibility. Our students will have the opportunity to lease select lesson horses to gain an understanding of what it takes to own a horse. We do not use old, tired horses that do the work for you. I am an experienced young equestrian looking to help others in the area with their horses. I specialize in dressage training, but I also have experience with jumpers and western games. I am very professional with flexible times, and a true gift for communicating with horses.

I have many years of experience showing and training in the following disciplines:
-dressage
-jumpers
-western games [i.e. barrel racing, poles, etc.]

I am more than happy to come out and school your horses! I do anything from beginner work to intermediate-advanced work. I am currently schooling a strong first level dressage, learning some second level movements. I am also available for simple exercising, longeing, or grooming of your equine companion. I also love to work with "problem horses", so if your horse has an attitude problem, don't be shy! I also will help you sell your horse. I make videos, put up ads, etc. Payment is negotiable.

Debbie Stranko has been an instuctor for over 30 years. She earned her BHS (British Horse Society ) Certificate and also studied in Bermuda when she first began. She is great with younger children as well as older adults who wish to ride. She is an all around wonderful instructor who will really cater to your riding needs. Lessons are available for all skill-levels all year round, with 2 outdoor rings to work in, as well as an indoor arena for when the weather doesn't cooperate. She gives private lessons so that there is one on one time with the her and her student. Debbie is equipped with some great school horses and will teach either English or Western.
