Our goal at Stone Bridge Farm is to offer our riders the best riding instruction, facilities and horses available in southwest Virginia -- and to do so in an environment that is fun, welcoming, and safe. In the last year, our high school and middle school riding teams have been among the most successful in the Mid-Atlantic states, and many of our show riders have earned local, state and national recognition.

Our trainers are experienced professionals, with demonstrated success in hunters, jumpers and equitation.
Whether your or your child are just starting out as a rider, or want to set and work towards competitive goals, we would be happy to welcome you at Stone Bridge Farm.

Over 20 yrs of experience. Forecast Farms offers riding lessons for all ages and all levels of riding. We offer private or small group lessons, either on your horse or on one of our lesson horses. Hello everyone! Wanted to introduce the new and upcoming English and Western training facility in the heart of Spotslyvania Virgina. We are a work in progress but have BIG goals and need your help to get there! We have now put in our arena! Working on getting a few jumps as well to start with. As of now we are offering the following:
-Ring Rental
-30/60/90 day horse training program
-Trailer your horse in for lessons
-Working students ( I have a few horses I want to use for lessons but they need some more experienced riders to work them. Lessons are free on these horses!)
-Pony rides/birthday parties

Kilfinnan Stables is a full service equine facility offering training, lessons, clinics, sales and boarding. Lessons and Training are provided by Advanced Three Day Event Rider Sean McQuillan. Sean offers instruction to riders of all ages and abilities, focusing on good horsemanship, solid basics, proper balance, and the relationship and communication between horse and rider and has been helping students form great partnerships with their horses for over 15 years. He is well known for his patience, communication skills, and takes pride in getting the best out of each student and horse. His coaching style is a mix of training and lesson philosophies coming from years of experience in the tack and his tremendous teachers and coaches throughout the years including David O’Connor, Phillip Dutton, Jimmy Wofford, Stuart Black, and Bay Cockburn. Alexis has always loved horses but didn’t start riding until she asked for lessons at 10 years old. She went to her first shows on a thoroughbred named Trickster who started her adoration for the breed. OTTB’s have a special place in her heart, and she has a lot of fun retraining them.

Her first experiences were in the hunter/equitation ring, competing locally, at rated shows, and on IEA teams. As she gained experience on trail rides and eventually foxhunting, she loved the thrill, and so she found out about more disciplines outside of the ring. That led her to learn about eventing.

Dressage, show jumping, and cross country are her passions, but she loves to guide students to find their own interests. she believes every rider, no matter how experienced, is always learning. Horses teach us so much every day!... See More

Kelsey began riding horses when she was 6 years old, getting her first pony for her 7th birthday. She was a member of The United States Pony Club for 11 years, achieving her C3 rating.

Originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, she spent her childhood traveling across the Midwest for various camps and events. Kelsey has spent many summers living with trainers and working with horses. As she grew as a rider, she began giving lessons and training horses. Kelsey worked with a therapeutic riding program for multiple years, assisting children and adults with various disabilities both on and off horses. She has taught riders of all ages about horsemanship and developing a strong foundation both in and out of the saddle.

Currently Kelsey is a middle school art teacher in Prince William County Schools. She has a passion for education and making learning fun and looks forward to doing the same thing at Silver Eagle Stable.... See More
