Kilfinnan Stables is a full service equine facility offering training, lessons, clinics, sales and boarding. Lessons and Training are provided by Advanced Three Day Event Rider Sean McQuillan. Sean offers instruction to riders of all ages and abilities, focusing on good horsemanship, solid basics, proper balance, and the relationship and communication between horse and rider and has been helping students form great partnerships with their horses for over 15 years. He is well known for his patience, communication skills, and takes pride in getting the best out of each student and horse. His coaching style is a mix of training and lesson philosophies coming from years of experience in the tack and his tremendous teachers and coaches throughout the years including David O’Connor, Phillip Dutton, Jimmy Wofford, Stuart Black, and Bay Cockburn. Sean’s philosophies are well-rounded and tailored to fit each horse and rider combination.
Sean is also available for clinics. He currently teaches numerous clinics at private stables and colleges throughout the East Coast and Midwest as well as conducting training clinics for numerous regional Pony Club chapters.... See More

We specialize in English riding lessons for all ages and levels, primarily focused on beginning and intermediate riders. We offer an instructional program which includes English pleasure, hunt seat equitation, and jumping. Our riders learn in 45 minute private lessons for $55 and semi private lessons for $50 a rider. Kim Yotko is an A.R.I.A. certified instructor in both Hunt Seat and Dressage. She has been teaching since 1976 on our own quality horses and ponies. Kim has quite a comprehensive background in riding. As a junior she rode at the esteemed Jane Dillon's Junior Equitation School, as well as being a member of the United States Pony Club. More recently, Kim Has received further Dressage training in Germany, Portugal, and Spain under the tutelage of world class instructors and Olympians. The farm offers both group and private classes for ages 10 yrs. through adult, Beginner through Advanced.
